In recent years many procedures have been proposed to check the anisotropy of a data set. The search for anisotropy in experimental data such as cosmological, astrophysical, atmospherical or geophysical ones, is covered by a large literature. A new simple and efficient procedure is presented for scale dependent anisotropy analysis with particular attention to small data sets.
