In the context of the PECSYS Project collaboration, dedicated to green hydrogen production through integrated PV / Electrolyzers, we have recently published a paper in the Journal of Power Sources together with colleagues of the Forschungszentrum in Jülich, Germany and of Enel Green Power. We have studied a photovoltaic Silicon Heterojunction 3 cell module integrated with a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolyzer. We show in outdoor conditions an H2 production rate of 4.2 gr of H2/hr/m2 at 1 sun with a solar to hydrogen efficiency (STH) of 13.5% in bifacial PV mode with demonstrated stable operation outdoor of 55 hrs.
