Description:
Thermoplasmonic effects of metallic nanoparticles (NPs) incorporated into polymeric matrix are theoretically investigated. These effects are necessary for membrane heating that ends with better mass transport and membrane efficiency. Our treatment is devoted to the thermoplasmonic effect in Argent nanoparticles function of their size, environment and excitation energy. An important Ag nanoparticle heating rises with increasing size and medium refractive index. For water desalination application, we found that a resonance plasmonic excitation of incorporated Ag nanopartilces and the increase of its proportion results in important membrane heating. Compared to previous experiment our theoretical membrane heating increases with light radiation time provides both reasonable qualitative and quantitative agreement.
